A Few Tips About Falls Park on the Reedy

点评：In conjunction to the “Liberty Bridge,” the Falls Park on the Reedy was opened in 2004. My wife described it as a “miniature Butchart Gardens” located in Victoria, Canada.
The park and Liberty Bridge overlook Reedy River Falls. In the late 19th century, these falls were polluted due to waste from a number of factories. It was known in that era as “Textile Center of the South.” Today, the falls are an idyllic symbol of the rejuvenation of Greenville—so named after the American Revolutionary war hero, General Nathanael Greene.
In the park on the eastern end of Liberty Bridge is the popular Bistro Passerelle. On the western end is the popular restaurant called “Between the Trees.” The 4-star hotel, Grand Bohemian Lodge, is connected to Between the Trees. We highly recommend seeing the free curated artwork and artifacts displayed at this high-end lodge.
Just recently, one of the oldest buildings in Greenville, Stone Cottage, recently opened its door for breakfast and lunch. One can actually sit and enjoy the views for the porch overlooking the park and bridge.
In the middle of the park is an outdoors theater that is used for various performances.
If you have time, we recommend coming down to the park and falls at night. The area is lighted enough to give the surrounding park a pleasant ambiance. You will not be the only ones in this park or walking on Liberty Bridge
