Foursquare Rum Distillery的点评
点评：We took a taxi here as we read there were self guided tours. The signage was a little confusing so we went in search of the store which was located in the distillery house. The distillery house was built in 1737 and down the road to the right of the main entrance. We were informed there was a self guided tour if you did not want to participate in the guided tours at 11 am and 2 pm. Since we were too late for the guided tours we explored on our own. The folk museum was closed for renovations.
We explored the area where the magic happens, the stills and boilers were going. The plant smelled of molasses. After our two person tour we went back to the store and had our own private tasting. The two ladies behind the bar were wonderful and knowledgeable. We had an eye-opening tasting that re-ignited our love for a good rum. I would recommend a visit.
