Very convenient location! Nice views and refreshing water.

点评：I came into the cruise port and only had a few hours in Manta. The beach was a very short walk from the cruiseport, so very convenient! The beach was not crowded, great for walking along the shore while splashing in the gentle waves though just at the shore edge. The water was refreshing and the sandy beach had some rocks, but not a distracting amount. The views were lovely. The beach had a number of lifeguards, which was helpful. I was alone, so not comfortable leaving my stuff and swimming in an unfamiliar beach ( unclear in currents, etc) but there were many folks clearly having fun in the waves.
I rented a chair with umbrella ($4 for the 2 chair "pod") to hang out and enjoy the peace and quiet reading my book while taking a break from the hot sun. The chair looked fine but was actually really uncomfortable - lol. There were multiple vendors dropping by to sell things which disrupted my "quiet time" which was too bad, but they were not aggressive.
The sand was rather dark and compacted vs white and sugary. Not really a " throw down your towel" type of beach.
The beach area had a number of vendor booths selling food, drinks, and souvenirs. I did not see any rest rooms, but they were likely around. The beach area by the water was pretty clean, though further up discarded water bottles, soda cans, and bottle caps were a disappointment.
