点评：I had not visited the zoo for decades, literally, end enjoyed a few hours here. It's quite hard work as you really have to drive and get in and out of the car a few times, and the signage is very bad. But it's worth it to see the animals. The Galapagos tortoises were especially fun.
I finished up in the cafe for lunch. It has a terrific view over an island with a lot of animals and it as very quiet, with few customers. But, my lunch never appeared. It seems someone had simply forgotten it. I had specifically asked if my choice would be fairly quick, as I had to get a hire car back to the airport by a certain time, and the counter assistant asked the chef in front of me, so it's not like they didn't know! Anyway, when I went in to ask where my food was, they said they could make it then, but I didn't have time. I had to pick up a sandwich from a servo on the way to the airport! They did refund the cost.
So the lesson is, it's best to check that your food is being prepared!
I'm not letting the cafe experience affect my overall review score.
