It’s not Disneyland but it’s still fun!

点评：Book tickets online and in advance to get the best price. I paid $60 for each of us. When you arrive you still need to line up but the pre paid tickets queue moves quickly. We arrived 11:30am and stayed until 5:30pm on a Monday of the school holidays. It was busy but in that time we managed to get on 6-7 rides with the longest wait time being around 35 minutes. Everyone in the queue is in the same boat and it’s a good lesson in patience for the kids! Chat with other families or play eye-spy. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the park and the stunning Sydney harbour backdrop. As it is free admission and you can come and go, we enjoyed eating our fairy floss and fish and chips lunch right on the harbour just outside the park. Coney Island was nostalgic and cute with the mirror maze and slides. Staff were friendly and efficient and the rides were safe. Don’t expect a huge modern amusement park, but take a moment to appreciate the views and backdrop and enjoy it for the heritage park it is. Parking onsite is $49 for 24 hours. We drove out by 6pm but you could leave your car and take a walk over the harbour bridge for dinner in the city - which we will do next time. My 10 year old daughter and I had a great day!
