Cavtat is a nice change from Dubrovnik
Cavtat Old Town的点评
点评：One of our drivers recommended Cavtat as a jumping off point before flying out of Dubrovnik. It is 7 km from the airport with ample taxis queued at the main parking lot by the harbor.
We dropped our luggage at the luggage place which also gave us access to the public restrooms to change into our bathing suits. (We were not told the restrooms closed in the afternoon so we had to wear our coverups/suits to the airport).
We walked along the harbor and out on the peninsula and found a spot to swim. Cavtat is much less expensive that Dubrovnik so 7 euros for a beach chair was a deal. The Adriatic is clear, cool and clean. We ate lunch at one of many cafes and then headed to the airport. We wish we could have stayed there for a few days as it was quiet, less expensive and not overrun with tourists.
