THIS COMPANY HAS FRAUDULENT BEHAVIOR
We are a group of 9 people who rented a Lagoon 43. Only after paying the full amount for the charter and two weeks before were we informed that the boat does not yet exist.
The company couldn't find an equivalent boat, and we requested a refund.
Since that date, the company has stopped responding to emails, WhatsApp messages, and phone calls.
Description of the facts:
• On 26 NOV 2025, through your platform, I booked a 2026 Lagoon 43 (booking confirmation attached). The yacht name is Poe Tea.
• On 17 DEC 2025, I made the first payment of €3,309.30.
• On 6 MAY 2026, I made the second payment of €3,309.30 and the final payment of €4,412.40, totalling €11,031.
• On 7 MAY 2026, after having received the full amount, the operator Poe Charter Tahiti informed us that the yacht was no longer available due to a delay in delivery of the vessel.
• On 7 MAY 2026, the operator proposed, as an alternative, a 2016 Lagoon 400 S2, which was rejected for being an older and lower category yacht.
• On 12 MAY 2026, the operator proposed a 2018 Bali 4.5, which was also rejected due to its age (see attached Annex II – screenshots of WhatsApp conversations).
• On 12 MAY 2026, I formally requested a refund of the amounts paid (see Annex III);
• Since then, the operator has stopped responding to emails, WhatsApp messages, or WhatsApp calls;
Comments:
• The operator waited until receiving the full payment before informing us that the yacht was unavailable.
• The operator’s behaviour strongly suggests there is no intention to refund the money paid.
• It is highly likely that the yacht contracted, “Poe Tea”, does not even exist.
