点评：This was the most wonderful experience. We were picked up and driven to La Paz (about 2 hour) in a comfortable van, stopped about half way through for a restroom break at a little store. When we got to the marina we got on a beautiful catamaran. The beautiful, wonderful, amazing cook Jenny was preparing a breakfast of eggs, fruit, tortillas, bacon and other stuff. Then we went out onto the smaller boat to look for whale sharks. We were in 2 groups of 5, there was a group of younger people and then the group of us older people and it worked out great. So when they find a whale shark, you slide off the side of the boat and swim with the guide, he shows you where the shark is then you swim parallel to it. The younger group was able to keep up better than we were. They swim so fast. We each had about 4-5 times trading off to swim with them. You really had to swim fast and pay attention to the guide. It gets kind of hectic. They were also swimming under the boat and you could see them so clearly. Then after we swam with the sharks we went to the resident sea lion colony and were able to snorkel with them for about 15-20 minutes. They were a lot more fun, for me, than the whale sharks because I could see them more and they just swam around you. They were so fun, like playful puppies. My husband was watching them on their rock above the water and he didn't even notice that there were some by his legs playing and circling around him.
After this we went back to the big catamaran and had lunch cooked by the talented Jenny. Beef, chicken, veggies, potatoes, fruit, guacamole, tortillas and chips. Then we had a nice relaxing ride back to the marina. We laid out on the back of the catamaran on the netting on cushions. The drinks were good and Jenny made those too! It was a beautiful, clean and well maintained boat.
After this we went back to the big catamaran and had lunch cooked by the talented Jenny. Beef, chicken, veggies, potatoes, fruit, guacamole, tortillas and chips. Then we had a nice relaxing ride back to the marina. We laid out on the back of the catamaran on the netting on cushions. The drinks were good and Jenny made those too! It was a beautiful, clean and well maintained boat.
