点评：I had the chance to visit Palazzo dei Vicari as one of the speakers at the TEDx Scarperia event, which takes place here every year. And honestly, it’s hard to describe how magical this place is until you step inside.
The Palazzo is a historic jewel — elegant, atmospheric, and perfectly preserved — and it hosts the Museum of Cutting Tools, the famous Scarperia Knife Museum. It’s an extraordinary collection that reflects centuries of craftsmanship and tradition, and it’s one of the true treasures of the area.
As a location for TEDx, the Palazzo was simply unforgettable. The atmosphere, the history in the walls, the professionalism and warmth of the local team… everything came together beautifully. I left with the feeling of having lived something truly special.
Scarperia itself is a charming little town, small but full of character. It’s absolutely worth a visit — whether for a walk in the historic centre, for discovering its centuries-old knife-making tradition, or for buying one of the beautiful handcrafted knives the town is famous for.
A wonderful experience, and a place I wholeheartedly recommend. Five stars, without hesitation.
