Winchester City Museum的点评
点评：The Winchester City Museum is situated next to the Catherdral grounds and it's an essential place to visit if you want to learn a bit more about the ancient and more recent history of Winchester.
The museum is split into three floors, and though there's not a huge amount to look at, what is there is very interesting and gives you some valuable insights into Winchester, from its origins as a prehistoric settlement, through Roman times and to Victorian times as an important market town and centre of commerce.
There is a charge for entry with student and OAP concessions, but your ticket is good for a year, and exhibits do change from time to time so if you're local to the area you always have the option to come back multiple times.
There is a small shop with books and gift items. Staff were really friendly and informative.
