点评：My family and I visited Tahune Adventures in Geeveston today and we absolutely loved it!
Funny story — we’re visiting from Victoria and staying in Launceston. I saw that Tahune was 90 minutes from Hobart and thought, “Great! We can go on the way to Hobart… perfect!” So I booked our tickets.
Then I looked at the map again and realised it was 90 minutes SOUTH of Hobart. 🤣
Anyway, the tickets were booked, so we set off on our VERY long drive this morning!
I’ve decided my geographical blunder was actually the universe sending me a message: “You must do this.” Because if I’d realised my directional flub before booking, we may never have gone — and that would have been a terrible mistake!
We had the best day!
Tahune Adventures is divided into three main walking experiences: the Airwalk, the Swinging Bridge and the Huon Pines Walk.
My height-avoidant husband, despite some initial nerves, ended up loving the views from the Airwalk just as much as the kids and I. He did, however, completely nope out at the cantilever viewing point! 😂
The Swinging Bridge is such a fun experience, and the scenery along the walking trails is absolutely stunning. We had perfect weather today and took our time wandering through the trails, listening and watching for wildlife. In fact, we were lucky enough to encounter a sweet little echidna digging for snacks just off the Swinging Bridge path.
The Hang Glider was very cool! It carries you 200 metres along the cable, rising to 50 metres above the ground where it pauses for a few moments so you can take in the spectacular views, before gently descending. It felt controlled and safe, and we all felt very secure — including the aforementioned hubby, who almost bailed at the last minute! 😂
We also had lunch at the café, which has a terrific menu with freshly cooked meals. My husband had the Huon Burger, which he declared delicious; I had the chicken salad, which was sooo good; and the kids confirmed that the nuggets were top-notch! Oh — and the ice cream is also a winner!
We’re so glad we made the very long drive. It turned out to be such a fun day, with beautiful scenery, wildlife, adventure and plenty of laughs.

后来我又看了下地图，才发现那里其实是在霍巴特的南方，距离也有90分钟车程呢。🤣
不管怎样，票已经订好了，所以今天早上我们便踏上了这段漫长的车程！我意识到，自己在地向判断上的失误其实是宇宙在给我传递信息：“你必须这么做。”因为如果在预订行程前我就意识到自己搞错了方向，我们可能就根本不会去了——而那将是一个极其糟糕的错误！
我们度过了最美好的一天！
Tahune Adventures提供了三种主要的徒步路线：空中步道、摇摇桥以及休恩松林步道。
我那位害怕高度的丈夫，虽然一开始有些紧张……最后，他和我还有孩子们一样，也爱上了从空中步道上看到的风景。不过，在悬臂式观景台那里，他可彻底打退堂鼓了！😂
荡桥体验真的很有趣，沿途的风景也美得令人惊叹。今天天气极佳，我们慢悠悠地沿着小径漫步，聆听大自然的声音，观察各种野生动物。事实上，我们很幸运地在荡桥附近发现了一只正忙着找吃的的可爱小针鼹呢。滑翔翼体验真是酷极了！它会沿着缆绳将你带到200米远的地方，随后上升到离地面50米的高度并稍作停留，让你尽情欣赏四周的绝美景色，最后再缓缓下降。整个过程掌控得恰到好处且十分安全，我们所有人都感觉很安心——就连那位在最后关头差点临阵退缩的丈夫也如此！😂
我们还在咖啡馆用了午餐，那里的菜单丰富多样，提供的都是新鲜烹制的食物。我丈夫点的是休恩汉堡。他称那里的食物美味至极；我点了鸡肉沙拉，真的超级好吃！孩子们也证实说那里的鸡块堪称一流呢！哦——那里的冰淇淋也同样棒极了！
我们很高兴自己驱车长途前往。这一天真是乐趣无穷：有美丽的风景、各种野生动物、刺激的冒险体验，还有数不尽的欢声笑语。
