点评：I’ve never seen elephants before, so I’m glad I experienced this with the Freedom Project and not a riding company. The briefing beforehand is heartbreaking as they show us what life would have been if they didn’t “rent” these elephants from their owners. If they didn’t pay to rent these elephants then the owners would rent them out to a company that does tourist-trap-riding-activities. The keepers looked very sweet and the elephants were very friendly! Did not know that they purred haha!! We had a group of 15 and everyone was very respectful of each other and let everyone have their turn in scrubbing, washing, touching and taking their solo pics with the elephants. We were handed buckets of bananas to bribe the elephants and spent half a day with them and had lunch on the property as well.
