点评:I did this climb on a wet and windy day in late October after a Booking.com mix up left us in Cazevieille for 2 days - with no car. And no proper walking shoes. Got to the summit in an hour in my running trainers quite easily but beware. This is a steep and treacherous rocky trek over jagged, rutted, broken stone with few if any patches of flat ground. And so steep at the top you need to scramble up with your hands in places. You need to be very careful. Especially coming down. The descent was unpleasant and the risk of slipping, falling and breaking something was frankly high without proper footwear. The views at the top were spectacular but it was so windy and overcast I didn’t stay long there. There are rather minimal painted signs to ensure you stay on the right path and though I didn’t get lost I thought there could have been a few more obvious and clearer painted direction pointers on the rocks and trees. Pleased I did this but you need the right footwear. And a head for heights at the summit!
