点评：The clock tower is visible from almost every place in inner Graz, so it is not surprising that this building has become a kind of symbol of the city. You can find it on postcards, souvenirs, pictures... The walk to this clock tower is very pleasant if you choose the path through the park from Sporgasse street. I did not try to go up the stairs from the other side of the hill - maybe it's a shorter route, but definitely more physically demanding :-) .
Very interesting are the reversed hands on the clock. The large hand shows the hours and the small hand shows the minutes. I didn't notice it at the first moment. The clock looked strange when I looked at it. It wasn't until after a while that I realized that the hands were reversed. Originally the tower had only one hand (the hour hand) to be visible from a great distance, and the minute hand was added later, which led to this unusual arrangement.
The tower can only be viewed from the outside; it's not open to the public.
