新市政厅的点评
点评：We visited the Rathaus in October and found there was a lot of construction in the area. At the back there was some excavation work going on and in front they were setting up for the Christmas Market and both made it difficult to access the area and get inside. We stayed in a hotel near the city hall which was an affordable area to be in. We still enjoyed the view from the Rathauspark in front and found a very good ramen shop close by. We spent about half an hour in the area and would recommend checking out the area during the day and the night because it gets lit up very nicely.
A short walk from the City Hall is the Parliament Building, Volksgarten, Votivkirche, Hofsburg Palace, and the historic centre of Vienna. There are also a number of museums a short walk away. The closest subway station is Rathaus and there are a number of tram stops in front of the Rathauspark.
