Good design, terrible condition
克罗伊登高尔夫俱乐部的点评
点评：Read a recent review of the changes and thought i would try it out. While the architectural bones are pretty good, it's a goat track in terms of condition. Masses of weeds everywhere, unkempt rough all along the fairways. Patchy faiways, the greens were reasonable. It looks like a cow paddock and clearly some of the members just don't give a damn. Have a look at the pic I took of this bunker. We played with a chinese guy and his wife who were members, we played on the Nursery course. He drove his cart around the edges of the green and bunkers, ignored the "paths only" signs on the par 3, talked in our backswings, walked behind us while we're putting - just deplorable etiquette. They are struggling and with members like the guy we played with, it's no wonder. Very few people in the comp too. Doesn't feel like a members club and generally seems run down. Got a cheap deal on Great Rounds, but wouldn't bother to drive out there again. Shame to see an old club like Croydon in such a state.
