Lewa Wildlife Conservancy的点评
点评：Lewa was our second stop on our one month trip in Kenya and Tanzania. We loved every minute of it.
Throughout the rest of the trip as we met other travelers, we recommended Lewa to everyone.
Lewa is a protected area - especially for rhinos. It is incredible to see them thriving here.
We stayed 2 nights at Lewa House and that was excellent.
We drove up from Nairobi (~ 5 hours - alternatively there is an air strip at Lewa). The guide that we had booked through another company to bring us to other national parks throughout Kenya dropped us off with our Lewa guide, Ben, who was our guide for our 2 days in Lewa. Ben was A+++++. Excellent in every way.
We saw so much wildlife just between the entrance and Lewa House - our lodging. (Lewa House was perfect in every way - I'll write a separate review for them, but simply put: wonderful.)
We had 2 bush breakfasts (guide packs breakfast, you do a game drive and then he finds a spot, sets up a table and you eat) that we absolutely loved.
One thing we especially appreciated about Lewa is that because it is a conservancy (and not a national park), the local people are allowed to live here.
The Maasai people have lived here for generations and continue to live in this area.
We saw a few people walking and we also saw beehives that they maintain.
Several Maasai people are guides and other workers within the area.
Wonderful that they are part of the life of the area as they have been for time immemorial.
We would LOVE to go back to Lewa. It was simply wonderful.

马赛人世世代代都生活在这里，并且至今仍然生活在这片土地上。
