The new management are from my neck of the woods, and they’re doing a fantastic job running a proper **family-oriented pub**.
The atmosphere is brilliant — good vibes, friendly and polite staff, and most importantly, it feels like somewhere you can bring your kids and know they’re in a **safe and welcoming environment**. That’s exactly what we want from a local family pub.
A massive thank you to all the staff as well — you’ve been **amazing**, welcoming and professional.
And credit where it’s due to **Marston’s** for getting the right people in to take over. They’ve done a great job choosing a team that genuinely seems to care about the pub, the families who visit, and the local community.
