点评:We visited Hota last week to see the Pop Master exhibition. We were directed by stickers on the ground to enter on the lower ground floor, only to find that access to the Pop Masters exhibition required us to climb a very steep long flight of stairs to the ground floor. We were directed to a touch screen terminal to buy tickets.
No prices were displayed. We had to navigate an unfamiliar app to reach the point where tickets could be purchased. I was then told I needed to go back down the stairs to put my handbag in a free locker as my bag was 2cm oversize.
There were no signs about handbag size restrictions displayed anywhere.
With arthritic limbs the steep stairs were painful and frightening experience.
I reached the lockers and could not see any instructions as to how to operate them. I worked it out by trial and error.
I had to seek help from an attendant to find the lifts (no signs visible) as unable to cope with the stairs again.
The lift had 2 ground floor buttons ?? So which one do I press.
The exhibition was very good. When we left we discovered we could have entered the building on the ground floor via a path with no steps.
We attempted to leave the carpark but there were no “Way Out” signs and only succeeded after 3 dead ends.
In summary and excellent exhibition ruined by a total failure of customer awareness.
