Nice pub, terrible manager
The Hole In The Wall的点评
点评：I have never written a review before but felt it necessary after what me and my family witnessed a few days ago. We had heard good things about the hole in the wall and so decided to visit whilst visiting our son at university. The place had a nice atmosphere and a friendly young woman working behind the bar and an older man (whom we later learned was the manager). We waited to be served and 5 or so minutes go by and the young woman comes back but now looks extremely nauseous and seems to have trouble walking. Both my family and other customers inquired as to what was wrong and were very concerned to learn she had had a seizure, yet she was continuing to serve people. Her manager however showed no such concern seeming almost annoyed that she was struggling to serve customers. I would have assumed after something serious she would have gone home or to the hospital, but proceeded to try and rest at the end of the bar, presumably to carry on working. The only thing this manager seemed concerened about is how long until she’d be back behind the bar. She was visibly upset and the last thing I saw was her leaving, and a very agitated manager (clearly not happy with that decision). We followed suit 10 minutes later not wishing to add to the managers intense stress and overall feeling very uncomfortable witnessing this interaction. All in all, whilst the place is nice and not too expensive, it appears to be ran by a man with little to no care for his staffs health and no ability to do the job he is being payed to do.
