A reunion meal and get together
The Chequers的点评
点评：After a little trouble trying to make our reservation, not the Chequers fault, but BT.
We managed to contact Joe. Hi Joe.
Table booked for 10, menu received to preorder the meals as there was a wedding the same day/evening and the kitchens would be flat out. No problem, it actually worked brilliantly.
We all arrived at our selected time and the place is busy, surely a good sign if the locals use it.
We entered and spoke to Joes 2nd in command/deputy and a young lady dressed in a white top & jeans. Sorry didn’t get the names.
We were seated in a small but comfortable room just off the main bar, it was perfect, we were waited on by friendly and attentive staff, very good service.
The food, only 2 had starters as most have a sweet tooth, personally I recommend the Pork Belly bites in BBQ sauce, sooo good.
The main courses were quite varied in the group, Ceaser salads, fish n chips, steak n ale pie, burgers and Duck, all good sized portions, tasty and well received, certainly recommended.
A few ales were also consumed to lubricate the conversation.
A great night a lovely meal and we would definitely return, Thank you “The Chequers” and all those involved in making our visit so special and memorable. A&J

我们一行人点了各种各样的主菜，包括凯撒沙拉、炸鱼薯条、牛排啤酒派、汉堡和烤鸭，分量都很足，味道鲜美，广受好评，强烈推荐。
我们还喝了几杯啤酒，让谈话更加轻松愉快。
这是一个美好的夜晚，一顿美味的晚餐，我们一定会再次光临。感谢“The Chequers”餐厅以及所有为我们的用餐体验感到特别和难忘的工作人员。A&J
