Fantastic Site! Not fans on the cleaning facilities sadly.

点评：Brilliant on site tracks, rivers and parks!
Pitches a great size and friendly atmosphere. Campsite warden lovely, helpful and friendly. Loads to do locally and on site. We weren’t bored for a moment!
My only gripe- the facilities.
I mentioned the facilities to staff on day one just generally being dirty (I don’t mind old or dated, but I’d like clean!)
Even after mentioning it to staff, this remained a persistent problem and especially after being in the river and bike riding, we felt unable to actually feel clean all week. Even at the height of the summer holidays and on a weekend, the cleaning sheet only reflected the block being cleaned 2/3 times a day and this was sometimes only 30 minutes before we would go in and find it pretty grim looking.
I approached staff again to ask them about it, especially as we have had over 8 stays this year on different sites and this being the most expensive by over £250. I was just told to give my feedback after we go home and get a link, which to be honest, was a disappointing response!
Would absolutely return, but would take a portable shower 😅
