点评：I felt that I had to write a review as this is my last visit to Roadford Lake Reservoir. My wife and I used to visit the lake and enjoy the lovely walks and views, visit the cafe, buy an ice cream and generally enjoy the day.
Today, (12July26) when driving in I could not help noticing the car park was only half full and thought it strange on a beautiful Sunday in the Summer. When I proceeded to pay by phone ( Ringo ) I realised that the charge was £2.60 for one hour. This answered my question and confirmed why the cafe was very quiet and a noticeably small amount of visitors.
While I appreciate that maintenance costs have to be met I feel that £2.60 for one hour is excessive. On an average visit you require a couple of hours and if you include a visit to the cafe this makes it an expensive couple of hours. I am aware of the annual parking fee but unable to commit for 12 months.
