Disgusting toilet facilities!
The Britannia Inn, Elterwater,Great Langdale的点评
点评：Quaint old pub with several inside rooms for eating and drinking, plus an outside seating area overlooking the valley. Popular with local workers.
We had a pleasant one night stay at the Britannia, but my experience was tainted by the fact that the only female toilet was up a set of difficult narrow stairs which I was unable to negotiate!!!
The alternative was a tiny , disgusting outside ‘ bog’ that was shared , stank of urine and there was barely room to shut the door once you were inside!!
I realise that due to the age of the building it is difficult to alter the pub , but feel the toilet facilities definitely need improvement. Maybe the shared toilet could be upgraded and knocked into the adjacent gents, making one decent convenience for all!???
Bedrooms were lovely and bathroom recently refurbished. The food was decent and staff very pleasant, but my overall stay was spoilt by the lack of decent toilet facilities!!! They definitely let the Inn down!!
