Lovely place to visit but expensive tea room!

点评：This is a lovely day out for anyone with an hour or so to spare, a great place to take the kids/grand kids with themed holiday events for the children (extra cost) and amazing grounds to explore even on a grey drizzly day! the flowers throughout the year are a sight not to be missed, the crocuses and snow drops at the moment are so beautiful.
The tea rooms are very welcoming, although the prices are a bit steep if you are taking the family out for a treat! so be warned, I find it hard to understand why there are no prices on the cakes, tray bakes and cookies, as they all have their own individual labels on and the same goes for the drinks, all advertised but with no price, there are prices on the menu for the meals, so I think this problem needs addressing sooner rather than later, so that the Customer can make an informed choice, the pricing needs to be much more transparent, as it is with other establishments like this.
There is also a great 2nd hand book shop very reasonably priced and plant sales. All in all a good place to visit but I'd take a picnic!
