Kawakiu Beach的点评
点评：This is a very secluded beach—perfect for anyone seeking peace and quiet. Once you reach the closed gates, you can park your car by turning left toward the small cottages; there is a dumpster located there, and cars are typically parked along the roadside—that’s a good spot to leave your vehicle (you’ll see a fire hydrant there; we parked just past it). Then, head back to the gates; to the left, you’ll find a narrow footpath. Follow it, and continue along the dirt road for about a mile. When you reach a ravine, you’ll need to turn right—the path there is a bit overgrown with grass, but the road becomes clear again just past a small hill (where you’ll see a wrecked car). Keep following your GPS for about 30 minutes, and—voilà—the beach will appear right before you. If you’d prefer to avoid the waves entirely, look to the right side of the beach—at the very end, near the mountain, there is a surface of black lava rock. Within it lies a natural pool filled with warm ocean water and little fish; you can lounge there for as long as you like. You’ll definitely be thanking me once you’ve experienced it—just lying there while colorful fish swim all around you!
