Morally Wrong and Depressing Zoo
毕欧帕可野生动物公园的点评
点评：to fill some time with children i can see the appeal of this zoo, however after looking back at my pictures of my time here, i can honestly say i am disgusted with the living conditions of these poor animals.
the admission fee came to around €18 per person, which is a fair price for a zoo visit.
staff were not present around the park at the time of our visit, however the ones operating the entrance were nice enough.
it was very quiet when we visited, possibly because of the weather.
but onto the living conditions of the animals, i will insert some pictures and you will be able to see how small and unkempt the enclosures are, as well as how unhappy and bored these poor animals look. the animals have nowhere to run, the lions were just either sitting still or doing laps of their small living area, and the hippos could barely move in the small body of water they were provided with. every enclosure looks extremely depressing and made me feel so sad for the animals.
overall from a moral perspective i would not visit this zoo, however i can understand why this would be appealing to families with small children looking to fill a couple of hours in between sightseeing
