点评：Disappointed with my dining experience and meal at the white cliff this evening after looking forward to try this spot for a long time. Granted we came in without booking on Saturday night. Seems like it does better for a pub that is overly dog friendly than a treat to a nice restaurant. We were unable to sit in the restaurant and therefore sat in the bar area in which we thought would be a quiet alcove.. when we came in the pub was quiet enough for Saturday but when we came to order a very loud crowd that killed the ambience of the restaurant and inappropriate conversations hurried in which caused a pretty distasteful dining experience especially for the price you are paying for what seems to be pub grub. I believe with the prices of the white cliff menu and the word around we believed it was a much more high market restaurant. We never really enjoyed our meals, as my father ordered the steak special which lacked any kind of seasoning or flavour we felt, and was very bloody taste, with it all over the plate as well which was asked for medium.. and my father asked for a steak knife that was never given to him - so it felt like a bit of a chore for him to eat. I ordered scampi and beef spring rolls which normally two foods I adore but almost put me off them, scampi was salt and chilli yet tasted of pure vinegar which was very distasteful along with beef spring rolls which were very hard, and flavours were very bland, and the sauce was very watery and a funny taste. The table was never checked on to see if we had enjoyed our meals, and didn’t feel seen to throughout our experience at the white cliff. I really wanted to like it a lot more as the place was lovely and had real potential but I was just very disappointed and confused by the price of such bland pub grub. Especially when eating out nowadays is a luxury with the expense. Sorry to say that I won’t be back!
翻译：今晚在白崖餐厅的用餐体验令人失望，我期待这家餐厅很久了。虽然我们是周六晚上直接去的，没有预订。感觉它更像是一家对狗狗过度友好的酒吧，而不是一家高档餐厅。餐厅里没有座位，所以我们坐在了吧台区，原本以为那里会比较安静。我们刚进门的时候，酒吧里还算安静，但当我们点餐的时候，一群非常吵闹的人闯了进来，破坏了餐厅的氛围，一些不合时宜的谈话声也随之而来，导致用餐体验非常糟糕，尤其是考虑到它的价格，吃的却像是酒吧食物。考虑到白崖餐厅的菜单价格和口碑，我们之前一直以为它是一家高档餐厅。我们用餐体验并不愉快。我父亲点了特色牛排，感觉完全没有调味，味道寡淡，而且血腥味很重，盘子里到处都是血，尽管他点的是五分熟。他要了一把牛排刀，但服务员始终没有给他，所以他吃起来很费劲。我点了炸虾和牛肉春卷，这两样我平时都很喜欢，但这次却让我很失望。炸虾是咸的，加了辣椒，但吃起来却全是醋味，非常难吃。牛肉春卷也很硬，味道寡淡，酱汁稀得像水一样，味道很奇怪。服务员从来没来问过我们是否满意，我们在白崖餐厅的整个用餐体验都感觉不到任何关怀。我真的很想喜欢这家餐厅，因为环境优美，很有潜力，但如此平淡无奇的酒吧食物却卖这么贵，实在让我失望又困惑。尤其是在如今外出就餐价格不菲的情况下，这简直是一种奢侈。很遗憾，我不会再回来了！
