Expensive, delayed mediocrity

点评：This review is by no means a slight on the staff who were there.
They did their best & when we aired our concerns of there being too few staff on for the evening, they confirmed this. We were told to raise it with management/owners who would be in later - which made me think - if you're in the hospitality industry and know your pub is understaffed for the night, you roll your bloody sleeves up and get on with it instead of leaving it for the remaining staff to sort.
To make the situation worse an event was on, of which the music was too loud for those eating to have conversation comfortably. This event of course brought in extra customers, which further stretched the few staff members on FOH.
Food took an hour and a half to arrive, portion sizes were inconsistent - my daughter left more uneaten chips than I actually got in the first place - and drinks were considered expensive even by the Norwegian friends we had with us.
Despite this, the food was OK, but not worth what we paid.
