点评：Me and my 2 sister in laws have just visited the Black horse at Sowton
Well!! We had pre-ordered our food from the Xmas menu and paid a deposition and looking forward to catching up with a glass or two
First things spring to mind is the look of the food that had been served up for us was disgusting!!
The carrots were so soft and burnt with black edges probably from the microwave the Sprouts were very soft and mashed and watery because they were also microwaved, we had a separate dish of carrots and Swede that were so mashed that look like baby food, (with no baby with our party the chef must have thought we would consider eating that!!
When our main dish came out! Well say no more the roast potatoes were nearly black, hard bullets we couldn’t cut them or even try to eat them.
All the meals were obviously from the day before and re- heated. We refused to eat it and left, we did not pay for this food and recommend that you do not book a table there, not worth wasting your time
The Manager would not speak to us and we had to beg to get our deposit back!!
Stay away, not worth the visit, we would definitely not be going back there, spoilt our Christmas get together.
