点评:Food quality the major event here. Everything we sampled was tasty and well prepared. We started with a duck pate and Japanese-style deep fried pork dumpling and dip and followed with lamb rump and a ribs, southern fried chicken combo with slaw, corn cob and chips. All the meat was flavoursome and tender so full marks there. Desserts, creme brulee and triple choc brownie, were good. The young serving team were knowledgeable and helpful. We would place the pricing at the higher end of mid range so while the restaurant environment was well spaced and pleasant it would have been a real plus to have a stronger front of house presence to welcome and farewell. We are frequently finding this missing in restaurant experiences at this level these days and realize it may well be partly an economic issue. But we do feel that in the long run it is part of the value delivery that contributes strongly to return visits and recommendations to others. Perhaps this feedback with be useful to the New Inn whose team we warmly congratulate for what they do deliver.
