Brilliant afternoon on the Lancashire Canal

点评：We went on the afternoon tea cruise along the Lancashire Canal and honestly, it was such a lovely experience from start to finish.
Mark, the skipper, was absolutely brilliant. As soon as we arrived, he made everything easy by telling us exactly where to register the car for the free parking, which was a great start. From then on, he was just fantastic - so friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. As we cruised along, he pointed out different sights, told us all about the canal, and even shared interesting bits about the mallards and ducks. He really made the whole journey engaging and enjoyable. Two of us even had to go at steering the narrowboat!
We ordered some wine and beer, which was perfect, and just added to the relaxed atmosphere.
The afternoon tea itself was really nice too. We had two vegetarians with us and the spread catered for them beautifully - plenty of choice and everything was fresh and tasty.
All in all, a really enjoyable afternoon. Lovely setting, great food, and Mark truly made the experience special. We’d definitely recommend it!
