点评：When I was looking for churches to visit, Chiesa di San Maurizio al Monastero Maggiore topped the list, so I just had to see what all the excitement was about.
Often referred to as the Sistine Chapel of Milan, I immediately understood the nickname the moment I stepped inside.
I was in awe, almost overwhelmed by the stunning artwork adorning the walls.
The frescoes depicts mostly stories from the Bible and the beauty and vibrant colors kept me captivated.
I found myself drawn to the intricate details and the stories the art was showing, and my neck ached from gazing upward in wonder.
Entry to the church is free, which is typical for all churches in Milan, making it even more inviting.
I spent quite a bit of time here, taking photos and wandering around, utterly amazed by the abundance of art on display.
There was a steady flow of visitors, not too crowded, especially considering it was November.
I can only imagine how crowded it must get in the spring and summer months.
I left feeling inspired by the artistry and the depth of devotion that went into creating such beautiful imagery.
Also, there's an archaeological museum right next door which contains artifacts from the times when Milan was Mediolanum, an early medieval tower.
