点评：Really really disappointing. The condition of this golf course was an abomination. I understand that the area had a large amount of rain over the last few weeks, but under no circumstances should you charge customers that considerable amount of money to play it. Some holes were completely abandoned and had not been cut. On these holes if you missed the fairway then you would lose your ball in 2 feet of clover grass. On other holes parts of the fairway were left uncut, some of which were landing zones meaning once again you can lose your ball in the middle of the fairway. The excuse of “it’s too wet to cut” doesn’t cut the mustard as they should have either given the golfer a considerable discount for playing in those conditions (which they did not), hand cut certain landing zones with hand mowers (as a greenkeeper myself this would have been possible), or finally shut the course. They decided that the best option was to charge a 4 ball £400+ to walk around in a field. Majority of the course was a quagmire, like walking through a muddy, boggy field.
The tee boxes were very long and uneven, and on some holes, tee boxes were forced into spots which had no right to have one. There was the odd hole which was well designed but very few.
The ONE positive about this course was the breakfast. €9 for a full cooked breakfast and it was very good. Aside from this the course is extremely disappointing especially when there’s other options very close by that are fantastic.
All in all this was a poor experience.
