点评:We stayed at a dull Ibis hotel nearby and decided to have wine and tapas before leaving Madrid and Spain.
Cerveceria al Tran Tran may not look like much from the street, but it's a real gem if you're hungry and thirsty.
The friendly (English-speaking) waiter told us about the small dishes on the menu, which aren't explicitly called tapas but essentially are. Several dishes are available in half-size portions, although it's not indicated on the menu.
We had the obligatory Iberico ham, manchego cheese, crispy pieces of pork with smoked mashed potatoes, tuna tataki, and a slice of carrot cake with a thick layer of icing… along with a couple of mugs of draft beer and the house's incredibly good red wine (a Rioja crianza).
Everything was sliced and prepared while we watched, and we were delighted - superb ingredients - although the tuna could have been fresher, and the carrot cake tasted a bit spongy.
When we paid the bill, we got a little one 'on the house,' and now we're ready to sign that Barajas is as worth seeing a hood as the central parts of Madrid.

Cerveceria al Tran Tran
