Dyffryn Fernant Gardens的点评
点评：After seeing the good comments (including from Monty Don) printed on their flyer placed at our hotel, we drove about 45 minutes to get there. What a HUGE disappointment!
I do get it that informal gardens are just that - 'informal', but there was nothing that justified the price. It was a large unkempt area with masses of weeds and other dead plants.
There were some walkways with trees/bushes and little ponds that you could meander along but there are loads of such places in the country you could do for free!
Even the toilet available for visitors was a terrible mess - very small, cluttered and seemed like a small junk room. It had books stacked up the wall, a washing machine and all sorts of the stuff and altogether terribly unsightly!
The whole area simply looked like a terribly neglected yard with empty/broken/rusty pots and other items and a negligible amount of plants/trees/grasses/flowers to enjoy.
