Chef with attitude

点评：We meet up with friends for a Sunday lunch. We choose this pub as it was in the middle of where we both live. We booked a table and all was good had drink and sat down. We were then looking at the menu and felt rushed to order our food. We ordered pork Sunday roast and two beef and a fish dish. Food came out and looked ok. But not for the price. My partner didn’t like the roast pork as it was chewy but we didn’t make a fuss. The waiters come up and saw she didn’t eat it and asked if all was ok and we said she didn’t like it. We are not people to make a fuss. She the asked if we wanted anything else but we said no. Then the Doughter of the owner come over and asked what was wrong we just said again it wasn’t to her liking and she replied that she would send the chef out. We where quiet happy not making a fuss about it. Then the chef came out and she said the the staff had tried it and everybody else liked it. She said I’m not taking it of the bill but she knocked of all three dessert. We just found her to be very abrupt and rude. Not all food cooked in pubs are to everybody liking. My partner didn’t like her pork but that was personal preference but for a chef to come out and be rude and make us feel like me make a complaint when we didn’t. I feel a bit more attention to customer service may be needed if you decide to send a chef out Apart from that the wine and beer were grate and the front of house where very nice pub was very warm with lovely fire places.
