Disappointing.

点评：Went for Valentine’s Day and was looking forward to a great good quality meal (esp for the price). However, this isn’t what we experienced. When walking through the door, we were met with no welcome and a rude judgemental look from the man who talked to us, he spent ages looking for our name on the list acting as if he didn’t believe it would be on there. I hope this judgement wasn’t because we were both women. Understandably the restaurant was busy therefore service was slow, however, it seemed understaffed and people who got there after us were served and tended to before we were, when we were finally tended to it seemed rushed and rude. We had no choice in having the set valentines menu when we sat down, even though when we booked the website gave us the option of having the valentines OR the normal menu and we choose the normal one as we knew the food we liked and what prices to expect. Therefore this was massively inconvenient as no matter how many courses out of 3 you had you still had to pay the set amount (£54pp) making this a very expensive meal, and unenjoyable as some of the food didn’t seem worth the money. At no point did any waiting staff check how the food was even when there was food left on the plates, and not even when we paid at the end. It was a disappointing visit and won’t be going back there again. I wouldn’t recommend going, you can easily find a much nicer place with a lot nicer food and friendly staff for half the price.
