Bustling bar, thoughtful touches
The Masons Arms, Branscombe的点评
点评：The Mason's Arms has a lovely bustling bar with open fire. Frequented by locals, dogs, walkers and visitors alike, it had a lovely atmosphere.
Our standard room, with superking bed was extremely comfortable. Lovely toiletries were provided and we were invited to enjoy the mini bare FOC due to our stay coinciding with a special birthday. A lovely touch, especially as we were already taking advantage of having a Sunday night on them when we booked to stay Valentine's night. Two nights away, sans enfants, for the first time in 5 years!
The food was great, a good choice of fish, met and vegetarian options. The restaurant was full. Just avoid the table for two in front of the door as it's a tad chilly.
The only negative of pur stay was someone conducting a loud and public phone call on handsfree in the middle of the restaurant on Valentine's Day evening. An indictment on them, not the Mason's Arms! 😐
