点评:We hadn’t visited the very south of the island for a long time so set out early from Corralejo for the drive down to the Jandía peninsula. If you don’t stop you can expect a journey time of around 1 hour and 45 minutes. But there are lots of places to stop so factor that into your plans. The roads across the island make it a relatively easy journey unless you choose a Google map route that takes you cross country so choose the motorways or the scenic route. Once you reach Morro you will notice that it has a distinct lack of parking. If you opt for the first spots along the main round then it is a 45 - 60 minute walk in to the centre. If you drive right into the town you will struggle to park. And this was March so not even peak season. We walked along the promenade to the town beach area where we spent a couple of hours. Bars and restaurants were busy but I’m told that’s because there are not too many with most hotels being all inclusive. Hotels themselves were high rise unlike the flatter buildings you find in the northern resort towns. The beach was nice but the surrounding streets off it up into the town were a bit elevated. Worth a visit so you can compare, contrast and choose your resort location but not likely to be for us.
