We got stuck on the island.
Lindisfarne National Nature Reserve的点评
点评：May 5th we peeled off the A1 at just gone 4pm. I actually read the times this morning and thought I had remembered the tide times.... it was 16.05pm until 16.50pm that you do not cross and there are boards dotted around to confirm tidal times.
We ended up driving around the village and then up to the castle but due to disabilities, we parked outside the Lindisfarne castle and watched others climb up the slope doing all the hard work.
From what I saw there was a couple of pubs, a cafe and of course the priory and museum.... But most stuff was closed or empty possibly due to the road in being shut.
Please check the times, we were all OK as it was a beautiful place to get stuck at.
Plenty of walks including the coastal path and some of the quietest roads I've ever seen anywhere in the UK. I'm guessing that will change at 8.50pm later.
Where I'm currently sat, in the car park near to the cafe, I can see Bamburgh castle, 15 miles away by road yet I can see it clearly across the bay.
Wildlife, walks and peace.... This is the place.
Beautiful..... Now back to Seahouses.

请务必查看时间，我们被困在这里也没什么大碍，因为这里风景优美。
有很多步行路线，包括沿海小径，还有一些我在英国见过的最安静的公路。我估计晚上8点50分之后情况就会不一样了。
我现在坐在咖啡馆附近的停车场，可以看到班堡城堡，虽然开车15英里（约24公里）远，但我隔着海湾就能清楚地看到它。
野生动物、散步和宁静……这就是我梦寐以求的地方。
太美了……现在返回西豪斯。
