Sherwood Forest Railway的点评
点评：Went for the train driving experience with my family as a 40th birthday present. We all had a great time. My 6 year old enjoyed the little park area before and after. Reasonably priced little shop, with a lovely lady behind the desk.
The train driving experience was made even more special by the immense hospitality of the train driver Pete, an absolutely delightful fella whom it was a pleasure to talk to and learn how to control the locomotive.
Driving the train was very enjoyable, and educational too. As a boiler technician myself, it was great to chat with Pete about the similarities between industrial boilers and that of a small locomotive.
It's not a full day out, and not even an afternoon, but if you tie it into a trip to sherwood forest, or some other nearby attractions, it's well worth doing.
Really pleased I got the opportunity to do this.
I recommend this to any steam train enthusiasts.
