点评:I absolutely love Clarks Village and visit regularly. It's a great place to shop, has a lovely atmosphere, and a really good mix of stores. Overall, it's always an enjoyable day out.
My only feedback is that some individual retailers seem to use sales tactics that I'm not particularly comfortable with. In Le Creuset, I was looking at a frying pan and was told other customers were interested in buying it. That may well have been true, but it also felt like it could have been a tactic to encourage me to commit to the purchase. Once the assistant had already got the box ready, I felt a little locked into buying it. I probably would have bought it anyway, but the experience didn't sit quite right with me.
I had similar mixed feelings in The Body Shop. The assistant was friendly, but the constant conversational selling made it difficult to browse at my own pace. I ended up buying a different product from the one I'd originally intended to buy, and later realised the tub was smaller than I expected while the price had increased, which didn't feel like good value for money.
On the other hand, I had a really good experience at Wagamama. The food and service were both excellent, and it was a great way to finish the trip.
Overall, Clarks Village remains one of my favourite places to shop. My feedback is really about a couple of individual retailers rather than the village itself. I'd just encourage stores to trust customers to browse and make their own decisions without relying on sales tactics that can feel unnecessary.
