The Look Out Discovery Centre的点评
点评：Went today with my daughter and 2 grandchildren aged 6 and 3. It was sold out when we got there, basically because it was half term,, but luckily I had bought the tickets online a couple of days before,, so worthwhile to book on busy times.
Can honestly say I was a bit disappointed. The science experiments were old and dated,, some had pieces missing and some were just not working. The grandchildren themselves did lose interest after a while as some of the experiments were difficult to understand how to work or were just not working when we tried them. The only thing that really held their attention was upstairs where hot air came out of a grid and you could fly a rolled up piece of paper.
Not enough staff around the place to control over zealous kids, or to help and interact with the displays.
Food was pricey..£3.60 for a sausage roll which I ate half of. Luckily the kids came with their own lunchboxes which was handy. We were directed to eat our lunches outside in the 'heated' marquee,, use the term heated lightly as it definitely wasn't!
Back to the exhibits,, hardly any or no seating to sit down on whilst you were waiting to go on things.
Outside if the discovery centre was a lovely huge play area in the forest,, this is free to use so not part of the Look Out.
I would say, save your money, by pass the lookout, go and play in the play area and forest and have a picnic!!

食物很贵……一个香肠卷要3.6英镑，我只吃了一半。幸好孩子们自带了午餐盒，这倒是方便多了。我们被安排在所谓的“暖气帐篷”里吃午饭，但“暖气”这个词用在这里实在是不够贴切，因为那帐篷一点都不暖和！
回到展馆，几乎没有座位可以坐下来等候参观。
探索中心外面是一片美丽的森林，里面有一个巨大的游乐区，可以免费使用，所以不属于观景台的收费项目。
我的建议是，省下钱，别去观景台了，去游乐区和森林里玩玩，顺便野餐吧！
