点评:We didn’t actually get to see the gardens so I have no idea how lovely they are but have given five stars and benefit of doubt. We mistakenly went to Antony House itself (National Trust), told the lady at the gate we were there to see the WOODLAND GARDEN - she promptly sold us two tickets (£26) and breezily waved us through saying the gardens are “over there”. Well they weren’t. We had bought tickets for the house and its formal gardens - access to the woodland walk is from another point - and more importantly run by the Antony Estate not the NT and tickets not transferable (or refundable…). We cut our losses and had a look round the house and fairly unimpressive gardens and will go to the woodland next time. Maybe I’m a bit thick but the signage (and NT staff) definitely need improving.
