点评:Mulligan's is a throwback to a traditional American restaurant with modest prices, an extensive menu and decent but not memorable food. Indeed, there was in general more food for the price than I have seen often in Maine.
Nothing we had was especially bad or especially good. Clam chowder was a bowl at the price of a cup, with a strong clam flavor, few clams and a bit too much salt. A hamburger was an excellent portion of ground beef, cooked perfectly medium rare as requested, accompanied by a thick slice of tasteless tomato, and more (there are several options). French fries were perfect.
The sloppy joe was a bit odd somehow, especially in texture, and the bun was bland. A side of cole slaw, however, appeared to be house-made and was very good.
For a pub, Mulligans has a relatively modest selection of draft beers, most of which are IPAs. They claim to have more than fifty by the bottle, but I did not try to verify that from the rest of the menu.
