点评：The Green Lantern is bar food. Not great bar food, but acceptable.
The atmosphere is casual, with large spaces and lots of tables. Don't come here expecting a quiet, private meal--that's not going to happen.
The menu is pretty much standard for this type of establishment. Want a burger? No problem. Fish? Yep, but nothing fancy. It's decent food at a decent price.
Service is generally good, topping off soft drinks and getting you another beer when yours gets precariously low. No complaints here.
My only complaint is add-on costs. I ordered a pork tenderloin, hold the cheese, just as god and Iowans intended. I asked for raw onion, and they charged my $2! Seriously? Two bucks for five cents worth of chopped onion? I found this objectionable, especially after ditching the cheese.
I go to restaurants with fair prices and fair treatment. This experience really turned me away from the Green Lantern. In an area of the state with a variety of bar/restaurants serving similar food at similar prices, you have to do something that pushes you above the competition. Green Lantern doesn't do this.
