点评:We arrived at 5:15 on a Friday because I did not want to risk them running out of prime rib. The place was packed and we had to wait for 15 minutes to get seated. It's an interesting place to check out with a little bit of quaint history. The service was very slow and it took too long to bring us our order. The prime rib was stone cold but that would not have bothered me so much if it was excellent. Sadly, it was impossibly tough and chewy. I needed scissors to cut through some parts. I didn't even want t bring the leftover home for my dogs. Horseradish was great though. The mashed potatoes were very tired and they served some type of instant gravy that reminded me of a continental breakfast of biscuits and gravy at a cheap hotel. Deviled eggs were good. Side salad was very average. My wife ordered the fish and chips -substituting onion rings for the fries. No onion rings were ever seen though and the "fish" which is listed as cod and leaves you to believe a filet was actually 3 small "sticks" and left a lot to be desired. While waiting, I looked around a lot and the locals appeared to be ordering mainly sandwiches and burgers...and the usually know best. The big takeaway here is that our meal was extremely overpriced and not that good.
