LOUD AF on a Tuesday night with incredibly slow service.

点评：I like to eat in local places while we’re on the road. Read about this place being historic with a beautiful bar and lovely tin ceiling. And that is all true.
Walked in and could not believe how loud the single singer with an acoustic guitar was. There was a sound engineer, working a board, so he must’ve thought that level was OK. But you could not have a conversation at all. I was wishing for earplugs.
When we first stepped in, I considered just looking at the carved mahogany bar and going somewhere else. But, we figured it should be fast and we could endure the cacophony for a short time. We were so wrong about it being fast.
There was only one wait staff working that night, and she was also behind the bar. When she finally moseys over to us, she admitted she had forgotten all about us.
She then took our drink order, and the drinks came quickly. But then she literally never came back to take a food order. Watched her go to all the other tables, watched her clean off the bar, watched her answer a phone call for a takeout order, and then I finally went up to the bar and asked her if we could put in a food order.
Once the food was ordered it came out quickly. My husband’s smashburger and candied pecan salad were both really delicious.
I am a sucker for a local food item whenever I see it on the menu, and I made the mistake of ordering the cashew chicken poutine. The cashew sauce had zero flavor and was just overly salty. The chicken was fried very tough. At least the cheese curds were good. But I barely ate any of it. Nothing but regret about this choice.

点完餐后，菜很快就上来了。我老公点的碎牛肉汉堡和蜜饯山核桃沙拉都非常美味。
我一看到菜单上有当地特色菜就忍不住想点，结果这次点了腰果鸡肉肉汁奶酪薯条，真是个错误。腰果酱一点味道都没有，而且咸得要命。鸡肉炸得又硬又柴。好在奶酪块还不错。但我几乎没吃什么。真是后悔死了。
