First Time Patronage Gone Wrong

Stopped in for lunch
First time I ever patronized the place. I have been working in that area of Leominster for more than 2 years now and I was always curious about the place. It has the sports bar look and the waitresses are very helpful and cordial. I had clam chowder which was very good. Then I ordered steak tips which were cooked to my liking but upon further inspection had this green like coating on top of this overpowering sweet sauce they put on them. The coleslaw tasted spoiled with a sour taste. I had onion rings which tasted like fried chicken. The waitress admitted that they cook them in the same vat as the chicken. I asked for a substitute which was the vegetable of the day, and I got a sauteed onion and green and red pepper medley with 1 piece of zucchini in the mix. This mixture was tossed in what tasted like Italian dressing (not tasty) Needless to say the money I spent on this meal would have been better spent at another food establishment. This food was fixed as if they wanted to discourage me from returning.

这是我第一次光顾这家店。我在利明斯特那片区域工作两年多了，一直很好奇这家店。它看起来像个运动酒吧，服务员也很热情友好。我点了蛤蜊浓汤，味道很不错。然后我又点了牛排尖，虽然烹饪得正合我意，但仔细一看，上面有一层绿色的涂层，而且淋的酱汁味道太甜了。凉拌卷心菜吃起来有点酸，像是变质了。我还点了洋葱圈，吃起来像炸鸡。服务员承认他们用同一个锅炸洋葱圈和炸鸡。我要求换成当日蔬菜，结果端上来的是炒洋葱、青椒和红椒，里面还有一小块西葫芦。这道菜拌了些尝起来像意大利沙拉酱的东西（不好吃）。不用说，我花在这顿饭上的钱还不如去别的餐馆。这顿饭做得好像故意让我以后不想再来了。
